Alpha Weekend

So, about 10 weeks ago or so I started doing an Alpha course at my church and this weekend I had the opportunity to go to Chichester for an Alpha weekend with other people from both St Peter’s (my church in Brighton) and HTB.

Basically I’m not really sure what to say about it other than how much of a good time I had. Well, not just me, but everyone there I’m sure had a great time. Just hearing other people’s stories and developing my own ideas on the holy spirit (the topic of the weekend) from hearing people’s experiences. I also really enjoyed the talks we had this weekend, usually, I’ll be honest, I tend to drift off for a few seconds when we have our talks at Alpha but this weekend I felt like the talks were really engaging. Not only because of the topic but because of how Archie and Toby conveyed their ideas and their jokes and just…. everything. I loved it. Maybe it sounds a bit silly but because of how much talk there was about prophecy on the weekend away I felt as though God was reaching out to me, some kind of message? I don’t know.
