At last Sunday’s services, Archie interviewed Anthony, Rhona, Matt and Jess about their experience of finding faith on the Alpha course.
None of them were regular churchgoers 12 months ago, and each spoke movingly and honestly about how they first came along. For Anthony it was through a stranger he bumped into in a kebab shop late one drunken night, a week after his marriage had broken down; for Rhona it was through a friend, and the people she worked with; Matt happened to be walking past church one Sunday and was curious to see so many people going in (“was it a jumble sale?!”); and Jess was invited to Alpha by a friend on her course at Brighton University.
