At last Sunday’s Ten service, we gave a huge welcome to the Bishop of Chichester, The Rt Rev Dr John Hind. The Bishop is at number 20 in this month’s Sussex Life’s list of “Movers and Shakers” (a little above Katie Price and Sir Paul McCartney!), and in November 2009 invited a group of us to Brighton to plant Holy Trinity Brompton’s first church outside London. As well as preaching and presiding at Holy Communion, he led us in the collect prayer for the day, “…in the renewal of our lives, make known your glory.”
