18 million people in 170 countries have attended the Alpha course, a practical introduction to the Christian faith, and this month at a Six service, Archie interviewed its pioneer, Nicky Gumbel, who is also the Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton in London, the Church of England’s largest church (5000 attending on Sundays). During the interview, Nicky talked about Leadership, church planting and personal spirituality, and then led the church in prayer. The present St Peter’s is a church plant from HTB, at the invitation of the Bishop of Chichester in November 2009.
