Summer Nights - Beach Volleyball

• Feeling a little lost with no team meetings?
• Just arrived at St Peters and keen to meet some new people?
• Or do you just fancy an evening out in the sun?

If yes is the answer to any of the above questions, St Peter's is coming to the rescue. For three Wednesdays in August, St Peter's are breaking out of the church and meeting venues to gather in some of Brighton's best and most fun venues. Food, sport, films, sunbathing, community, partying, chatting and competition all of these and more are available to you!

We are kicking this all off with a Beach Volleyball tournament on August 4th at the Yellowave Beachsport Venue. We have hired two courts from 7pm until 9pm and we will run a tournament with all those who turn up to crown one team the eventual victor and proud owner of the St Peters Cup. As we can get on the courts at 7pm prompt it would be helpful if you could arrive at 6:45 to allow for a seamless start.

It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned pro or if you haven't played volleyball before, all are welcome. Games will consist of 5 players a side, teams MUST be mixed gender, rules will be explained on the day (once we learn them) Games will be self refereed and above all it is going to be an incredibly fun night.

All of this fun and friendship for the paltry fee of £3 per player (that less then the cost of a drink for two hours of fun!)

We already have courts booked but it would be very helpful to know how many teams we are expecting (it allows Jon to do his maths geek thing and sort out a proper league style system) so if you know you have a team, please email jonjppass@gmail.com with volleyball in the subject line and a quick run down of the players involved.
