The Bereavement Journey

What is it?

This is a 6 week course that uses DVD talks and small group discussion to explore issues and support one another.
Topics covered include:
- attachment, separation and loss
- the impact and pain of bereavement
- adjusting to change
- anger and guilt
- coping with others’ reactions
- moving on healthily
- and an optional sixth session on the faith perspective

Everyone involved in the running of the evening has personal experience of bereavement, so you will be amongst friends!

Who is it for?

The course is for anyone who has experienced a significant bereavement, whether recently or many years ago, and feels they would benefit from spending time in a safe environment exploring some of the issues around the grieving process.

While the course is based on Christian principals, it is designed for people with or without a Christian faith or church background. It takes the perspective that those that are on the grief journey can learn from each other's experience along the way.

What is the cost?

The cost is £35 per person which covers the cost of the meals for each night plus the course materials. Bursaries are available so please don’t let cost deter you from joining us.
