What is it?
The course uses talks and small group discussions to explore issues such as accepting the reality of loss and beginning to find a 'new normal'. Everyone involved in the running of the evening has personal experience of bereavement, so you will be amongst friends!
Who is it for?
The course is for anyone who has experienced a significant bereavement, whether recently or many years ago, and feels they would benefit from spending time in a safe environment exploring some of the issues around the grieving process.
While the course is based on Christian principals, it is designed for people with or without a Christian faith or church background. It takes the perspective that those that are on the grief journey can learn from each other's experience along the way.
When is it?
The course starts on Monday 6 February and runs each Monday evening until 13 March (term break on Monday 20 February). The course starts in a home in Hove at 7.30pm and ends by 9.30pm.
What is the cost?
The cost is £45 per person which covers the cost of the meals for each night plus the course materials. Bursaries are available so please don’t let cost deter you from joining us.
