"It is my third term with the mountain biking group. Joining the group was a great way to connect with the Christian community of St Peter's after I did Alpha. I feel blessed to have a group of wonderful people to share our journey with Christ, to pray and support one another at the same time get outdoors for some fun, fellowship, and exercise!" - Drew, from MTB Cycling Group

Faith and Flat Whites
Thu
10:30
The luxury of personal study combined with friends over flat whites is eternally appealing to me, add in a slice of cake and I'm sold (and on a weekday too! Heaven!). A 10-Session In depth study of the story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's overloaded and stressed woman. Esther, while a queen, lived as an outsider in a hostile environment. Women will learn strong lessons of faith, providence, and hope to equip them to live courageously "for such a time as this." We will be studying the book of Esther using interactive teaching videos, plus 5 personal study segments with homework to be completed between the 10 weeks of group sessions (to get the most out of this study the homework is a must – but it's well worth it!). The cost to cover the materials is £25 but if you have any questions please speak to Jodi. We will be meeting on the following dates: 17 Jan, 31 Jan,14 Feb, 28 Feb, 14 March, 28 March, 25 April, 9 May, 23 May,6 June Led by Jodi Luke.

For anyone who wants to further explore fostering or adoption. You might have already begun the assessment process or be considering which agency or local authority you want to apply to. Perhaps you are sure that you will foster or adopt in the future, but for whatever reason, you know that it is not yet the right time. Or it may be that you have been prompted to find out more and are simply seeking to be open to whatever God has for your future. Whatever stage of the journey you are on, this course will equip you to better understand fostering and adoption, and enable you to make well-informed decisions. 7th,14th, 21st January
