Its back – the School of Theology returns to St Peters'! Following the success of the spring term bible track, this autumn we will be studying a life track – how do we apply our faith to life? Over eight sessions we will be looking at the foundations of ethics, the role of science, money and power. By the end of term you should not only be able to prove the existence of the School of Theology but will have a firm ethical basis for deciding if it's a force for good! As usual the final session will be a Q&A panel with top theologians and close with a quiz. Dates: Sep 27 Thinking Ethically Oct 4 Has Science Disproved God? 11 Capitalism & Christianity 18 Suffering & Evil 25 Arts & Culture Nov 1 Wealth & Poverty 8 Politics & Faith 15 Q&A Panel and quiz Each evening we meet 1900 at the church hall, start at 1915. We follow the St Mellitus teaching syllabus (Holy Trinity Brompton's school of Theology), showing a video of the talk followed by a small group discussion and time of Q&A. Please note there is a small charge of £25 to cover materials and light refreshments payable on the first evening.
