Prayer Week - Everyone Everywhere
3rd - 9th Oct
Imagine a day when everyone everywhere in Brighton and the surrounding communities has heard about Jesus and been transformed by an encounter with Him. This is the Father’s heart – He is unequivocal – God desires that everyone comes to know Him and prayer is how this will happen (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
As we embark on this new season, God is bringing us together to seek His presence in 168 hours of unbroken prayer for the vision and mission of the church in our city. This week is an invitation – to seek after and get close to Jesus, to deepen our love for Him and to inquire in His temple. God wants to speak to us and reveal His heart for the city, to inspire us and fill us afresh with His Spirit. Let’s dive in!
Here are a few ways you can get involved :
Mornings Together
Join us weekday mornings on Zoom from 7:15am – 8am for devotions led by our clergy, prayer and communion. Email prayer@stpetersbrighton.org for the link.
*NEW* Noon Prayer @ St Peter’s
Join the team to pray in-person at St Peter’s, 12 noon – 12.30pm, Monday – Friday. Come to the red door just before noon.
Evening Prayer (9:30pm – 9:45pm)
Join us weekday evenings on Zoom for 15 minutes of quiet contemplative prayer, in which we reflect on the events of the day in order to discern God’s presence and action in our lives. Email prayer@stpetersbrighton.org for the link.
Everyone Everywhere Prayer Room (Home or at St Peter’s)
Sign-up to pray for an hour in our 24/7 Prayer Room here. To help us out, pop (H) beside your name if praying from home i.e. Chris (H) or (P) if praying in the St Peter’s Prayer Room and your email address. Note – the St Peter’s Prayer Room is open 10am -10pm Monday – Friday with only one person/party praying in the Prayer Room each hour.
