Eliza G. Cooke

Eliza Georgianna Musgrave was born in Oxford to Richard Adolphus Musgrave and Katherine (or Catherine) Lowther (1792 – 1867). Eliza had three siblings.

On 03/07/1866 she married Thomas Cooke (1791 – 1874), the curate in St. Peter’s Church Brighton. The wedding took place in St. Nicholas Church. Eliza died on 27/08/1901.

Thomas Cooke was the oldest of seven children. His father, Charles Cooke, was born in Gloucestershire, his mother, Catherine Smyth (1755 or 1768 – 1810), in Gloucester.

Thomas Cooke married three times. His first wife was Jane Finch. The wedding took place on 20/12/1827. After her death, in 1858, Cooke married Esther Goldsmith on 12/01/1860. Esther died in 1865. Cooke’s third wife was Eliza Georgianna Musgrave (28/10/1825 or 1826 – 27/08/1901).
