Match-funding is another way of increasing your fundraising impact. Check with your employer to find out if they offer matched-giving schemes. Many do - often matching your donation pound-for-pound up to a specific amount.

Contact the HR or the Social Responsibility Office at your workplace to find out more.

Leadership Development Year Trip

A team of 15 who are involved in St Peter’s Leadership Development Year are off to Hong Kong for two weeks to live and serve with St Stephen’s Society ( ).

During this time we will help in their outreach to the poor, those struggling with addictions and other challenges.

Can you help us? We need to raise just over £1000 each primarily for flights, accommodation with St Stephen's and travel to and from projects across Hong Kong.

Tom's Brighton Half & Brighton Marathon

The Brighton & Hove Churches Night Shelter works together with churches from different denominations across the city to take in vulnerable men and women experiencing homelessness. We now operate for 365 days a year, and use St Patrick’s Church as our central venue. 15 guests are given a home-cooked meal, a warm bed in a safe place and a hearty breakfast every day of the week.

Through Safehaven we strive to see our city transformed through welcoming, loving and supporting the street community and the vulnerable men and women of our city.

Each week we offer food and other practical support, friendship and community to around 200 individuals through our weekly hot meal, men’s and women’s Drop-ins, a Night Shelter and Mother & Baby Support group. For more info visit

How can you help?
