Fundraising

What are you passionate about?  Fundraising is an amazing opportunity to spread the word about Safehaven, Students or any area of church life – and raise some money whilst having fun!

Here are some simple ways to get started.

Do your own fundraising…

Whether you are a runner, a baker, an extreme events enthusiast or just like to organise a party for your friends and colleagues we would love to support you in your efforts.

We would love any photos of you in action as well!

Match-funding is another way of increasing your fundraising impact. Check with your employer to find out if they offer matched-giving schemes. Many do - often matching your donation pound-for-pound up to a specific amount.

Contact the HR or the Social Responsibility Office at your workplace to find out more.

Support others’ efforts…

The Students’ Sleep-out

Did you know there are 2x more rough sleepers in Sussex than the national average, with Brighton & Hove in the top ten local authorities nationally with the highest number of people sleeping rough?

On 12 Nov, St Peter's students 'Slept OUT' so others can 'Sleep IN!' to raise money for The Brighton & Hove Churches' Night Shelter, a partnership of churches across Brighton providing emergency shelter and support to rough sleepers.

Join us in supporting the mission of The World’s Big Sleep-out, by helping support the Churches’ Night Shelter and eliminate rough sleeping in our city!

Leadership Development Year Trip

A team of 15 who are involved in St Peter’s Leadership Development Year are off to Hong Kong for two weeks to live and serve with St Stephen’s Society (http://www.ststephenssociety.com/en/hongkong.php ).

During this time we will help in their outreach to the poor, those struggling with addictions and other challenges.

Can you help us? We need to raise just over £1000 each primarily for flights, accommodation with St Stephen's and travel to and from projects across Hong Kong.
