Our Kids team aims to provide the very best hour of every child’s week at St Peter’s Kids and are looking for volunteers with a heart to see children encounter Jesus! St Peter’s Kids runs for children 1-11 years old. To join the team, we look for 2 references and a DBS check.

Alpha

Our morning or evening Alpha Home team aims to ensure that every Alpha guest feels
at home. We’re passionate to enable parents to participate in the course and are always looking for people to help at Morning Alpha childcare. Volunteers are needed for 3 hours AM or PM every Wednesday for 10 weeks when Alpha is running.

Our Sunday service team helps to host our services and create the most welcoming experience for our church and guests - from the moment they walk through the doors, to taking their seat and leaving at the end - we want our congregation to find a home here and amazing hosting is the start.

Our Building & Maintenance team aims to restore and upkeep this iconic landmark building in Brighton. Are you handy with a hammer or proficient with a paint brush?... We need you! Come and be part of our team, gain new skills and leave your legacy on this beautiful building.

Safehaven Men

Our Safehaven Men’s team aims to provide a weekly drop-in for men in need of support and community. Every Wednesday afternoon, during term time volunteers’ set up, pack down and serve. All with the aim of facilitating community.

Our Creative & Media team aims to bring the message of the church to life through various visual and audio elements. By joining this team, you’ll have the opportunity to use your creativity, technical skills, and passion for media production. Whatever your skill there’s a place for you on this team.

Safehaven Women

Our Safehaven Women team aims to provide a weekly drop-in lunch for women in need of
support and community, every Thursday afternoon during term time. Opportunities for
volunteers include setting up, packing down and serving. All with the aim of facilitating community.

Our Safehaven Saturday team aims to provide a weekly evening meal and communion service for the street community and those seeking fellowship in the warmth of the church. Opportunities for volunteers include setting up, packing down and serving. All with the aim of facilitating community.

Worship & Production

Our St Peter’s Worship aims to enable our church and our city to come together in worship as we lift up the name of Jesus above all else. We always welcome gifted musicians, vocalists & technicians with a love for Jesus to join. As a team we primarily serve on Sundays and rehearse on Thursdays.

Prayer

Our Prayer team at St Peter’s aims to enable a prayer community every weekday morning at 7:30am on Zoom. Starting each day with 30 minutes of prayer, pressing in for our city and receiving from Jesus.

Mental Health

Our Mental Health team at St Peter’s aims to provide a safe space for those within the community to come together and talk about mental health. We welcome all who are interested in or have skills in the area of mental health to hosts a variety of events regarding the topic.

Play Cafe

Our Play Cafe team at St Peter’s aims to welcome and love on the parents of little ones in the community, every Thursday morning during term time. Come and serve in the pop up cafe in
church. Join us at St Peter’s as we open up the space for play and refreshments!

Youth

Our Youth team at St Peter’s aims to position ourselves to serve the 11-18 year old’s in our city. We do this primarily by gathering every Friday nights and on Sundays. Come play your part on team to see young people come alive in Jesus, see them grow and lead in community.
